There are better bets than IRB in infra pack: Jagannadham Thunuguntla, SMC Global Securities

In a chat with ET Now, Jagannadham Thunuguntla, HoR, SMC Global Securities, talks about IRB Infra.

ET Now: Do you track either of these two stocks, IRB Infra and Aban? IRB has seen good times and Aban has not done too badly either. Profits have doubled and the stock is up 4%. What is your take?

Jagannadham Thunuguntla: In general, we are bullish on infra. That said, IRB Infra may not be the top pick. We still feel that L&T is ahead of all these in terms of buying on dips.

Having said that, names like IRB can witness very volatile moves on an F&O kind of expiry day. This is understandable.

But my belief is that if somebody is betting on the infra theme, IRB is probaly not the top name.
