TCS looks attractive at the current levels: Avinash Gorakshekar, Anagram Capital Ltd
Avinash Gorakshekar, Head of Research, Anagram Capital Ltd, in a chat with ET Now talks about the IT space.
What is your call on the entire IT pack and do you think it still makes for a good defensive play?
I think typically if you look at the way IT companies have actually managed their performance and the way they have handled the crisis earlier, I think IT companies definitely should be looked upon - may be a TCS or Infosys at this point of time. Our sense is that for any investor, who wants to take a medium term call, TCS definitely looks to be quite attractive at the current level where we are more positive on the company.
Our sense is once the Q1 numbers start rolling out, probably the rupee volatility will be something which will obviously be kept in mind, the business growth what we foresee in the next coming 2-3 quarters is expected to gain good traction considering the fact that the outsourcing wave is going to continue and margins definitely are going to improve. So TCS at the current levels definitely looks attractive.
