Tata Motors has been doing well leading the company from the front: Dilip Bhat

In a chat with ET Now, Dilip Bhat, Joint Managing Director, Prabhudas Lilladher, shares his views on Tata Motors. Excerpts:

ET Now: What is your view on Tata Motors?

Dilip Bhat: Despite the fact that Brazil itself may not be a very big market, Tata Motors would still eye for the overseas market and for the South American markets from Brazil so that they have a reasonable foothold over there.

Obviously, people are rightly worried that it is going to consume a lot of cash flows. However, given the fact that JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) has been doing well leading the company from the front and generating good amount of free cash, some amount of investment is necessary if we have to maintain long term trend.

Therefore, the domestic recovery, as and when that happens, will provide a lot of tailwind.
