Tapering is bound to happen: IV Subramaniam, Quantum AMC

In a chat with ET Now, IV Subramaniam, Director, Quantum AMC shares his views on market outlook amid tapering fears. Excerpt:

ET Now: It is all about the Janet Yellen trade this morning. Has she put tapering fears to the rest?

IV Subramaniam: She may have put it to rest for a temporary period but eventually, it is still a sword hanging above our head. As the data improves or as the data she feels comfortable with, the tapering is bound to happen. That means the interest rates would move up; at least relocation of all the financial assets would take place.

Hencem, at best, we can say that it is not happening immediately but maybe somewhere down the line.
