Take a longer term call on Sterlite or Hindalco: Avinash Gorakshekar, Anagram Capital Ltd

How do we keep Hindalco or for that matter Sterlite? We are not really sure about what the Chinese cycle looks like? What should we keep in focus as we look at a stock like this or Sterlite Industries for that matter?

When you look at a stock like Sterlite or Hindalco, primarily you got to take a slightly longer term call. In the immediate shorter term, it is not possible to get a sense on the price immediately because prices are volatile and there could be swings either ways. These stocks have been battered quite badly considering that the global markets have been pretty volatile.

Our sense is that the metal cycle will definitely have an uptick basically based on the fact that the global cycle recovery is looking pretty strong and domestic consumption is also pretty good.
