Supreme Court judgement on mining ban will help Kalyani Steel: Sudip Bandyopadhyay

In a chat with ET Now, Sudip Bandyopadhyay, President, Destimoney Securities Pvt. Ltd., shares his views on effect on Kalyani Steel of SC lifting mining ban.

ET Now: JSW I am sure you have a view but if you also have a view on Kalyani Steel that will be helpful.

Sudip Bandyopadhyay: This Kalyani Steel as you are aware it is a part of the Bharat Forge Group. They have their presence predominantly in Karnataka. They used to source raw material from Goa as well. So, this opening up of mining ban by the Supreme Court will definitely help them to an extent. They had major raw material problems and the plant was not being operated so definitely this is a big-big positive for Kalyani Steel. I am sure with this mining ban getting lifted they will be able to resume production to the full capacity.
