Sun TV is a good play at this time: TS Anantakrishnan

In a chat with ET Now, TS Anantakrishnan, Head-Prime Wealth Management, shares his views on banking space.

ET Now: What is your call on Sun TV?

TS Anantakrishnan: Within the media space, we do like a Sun TV. We think the valuations are quite reasonable in that space, especially with the introduction of digitisation. This would be quite beneficial for Sun TV where hopefully the right numbers would be reported as far as the number of subscribers go. So, that should increase their subscriber revenue.

For Sun TV, we expect the subscriber revenue to go up by 50% once the digitisation is implemented. On a valuation front, it looks quite reasonable. The only risk is political in nature but that is very well factored into the price. So, we think Sun TV would be a good play at this time.
