Suggest to buy Idea and Airtel in the telecom space: Deepak Shenoy

In a chat with ET Now, Deepak Shenoy, Founder, Capital Mind, shares his views on the Telecom sector. Edited Excerpts:

ET Now: Final thoughts on the telecom space. Is there an opportunity of rerating there? We have already seen good traction in Bharti, Idea. Relcom perhaps not as much, but it is catching up. What would be your preference?

Deepak Shenoy: Relcom is the weakest in the space. Hopefully, it will catch up. Bharti is actually very attractive although. We are just starting to see the next move. Coming in, maybe 4G starts to work in their favour. The auctions are on so. I mean Idea has been a fairly big outperformer in that respect. That would be a primary pick if we were to get in that space. Idea and Airtel would be the vehicle of choice really.
