Suggest to buy Dr. Reddy and Sun Pharma in the pharma sector: Mahantesh Sabarad

In a chat with ET Now, Mahantesh Sabarad, Deputy Head Research, SBICap Securities, shares his views on the pharma sector. Edited Excerpts:

ET Now: What is it that you will be comfortable telling your clients to add on to at the current levels and why of course?



Mahantesh Sabarad: Dr. Reddy and Sun Pharma. These are companies who have strong R&D capabilities and strong reach. They have now developed into the US markets. They have substantially ANDA pipeline as well. Unlike the midsized pharma companies or smaller companies who of late have been battling the FDA issues, these companies have the wherewithal and capability to really address FDA concerns and grow their business. These are the stocks that we would like, the large pharma names that we would look at this point in time.
