Stocks to watch: Bank of Rajasthan, Adani Power, Eicher Motors, Cadila Healthcare, HT Media, Mangalam Cement

After spreading its operations beyond Gujarat, to Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, Adani Group company Adani Power is now looking for opportunities outside India.

The Reserve Bank of India has ordered a special audit of the accounts of Bank of Rajasthan following investigations into irregular dealings by the private sector bank. The regulator has appointed Deloitte Haskins & Sells to audit the bank’s lending policy among other things while the parent accounting and consulting firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu has been hired to audit the information security system of the bank.

After spreading its operations beyond Gujarat, to Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, Adani Group company Adani Power is now looking for opportunities outside India. The power company is in race for a 1,000-mw power generation project in Kosovo, part of the EU.

Indian commercial vehicle maker Eicher Motors is in talks with Volvo Group to broaden their equal stake joint venture by tapping the Swedish truck and bus major’s global distribution network.

The race amongst Indian swine flu vaccine-makers seems to be moving to the next level with Cadila Healthcare Ltd, the Rs 2,900-crore Zydus Group's listed entity, filing for the next phase of clinical trials after completing the first phase.

Hindustan Media Ventures, a subsidiary of HT Media, has filed DRHP with SEBI for Rs 300 crore issue.

Mangalam Cement has finalised order for installation of 6 wind mills of 1.25 MW each (total capacity 7.5 MW), at Jaisalmer. The total order is valued approximately at Rs 39 crore . The order has been placed with Suzlon Energy.
