'Still not positive on telecom stocks'

In a chat with ET Now, Amit Khurana, director research, Daulat Capital, talks about the outlook of Idea.

What do you read into the kind of moves that Idea specifically has given?

From a fundamental perspective, we still have concerns. Most of this movement that is happening is more of a catch-up. We still believe that there are significant headwinds onto the sector and it would be interesting to watch because some of these players have made noises about getting strategic investors to de leverage their balance sheet, that will be one interesting factor, which we are waiting and watching and in case that becomes material enough, then obviously that could become a very strong reason for one to look at these stocks from a different perspective but at this juncture. We still do not have a very great positive view about the sector.
