Stick to well run mid-sized private sector banks: Sandeep Shenoy, Anand Rathi Financial Services

In a chat with ET Now, Sandeep Shenoy of Anand Rathi Financial Services shares his views on the banking space. Excerpts:

ET Now: Give us a sense from the banking space. Given the weakness that we are seeing in a whole host of these banks today, what are your top banking ideas?

Sandeep Shenoy: One should stick to the well run midsized private sector banks because they are the ones who are going to give you some kind of safety in the days of volatility, which we think would be hitting the markets in the next few weeks. The other private sector banks have come with a decent set of numbers and that is where you will have safety from volatility and insulation from the fluctuations.
