Right now if you look at the midcap segment, we get a feeling that there is a lot of steam still left and then there is a lot of value that will perhaps unfold, but from a retail investor perspective, you should stay invested across market cap.
How would a retail investor look to align his portfolio? You did speak about a possibility of a pre-budget correction. If you are looking to build up one year portfolio or slightly longer term portfolio, should the bias be more on midcaps as opposed to large caps?
Right now if you look at the midcap segment, we get a feeling that there is a lot of steam still left and then there is a lot of value that will perhaps unfold, but from a retail investor perspective, you should stay invested across market caps, across themes and particularly themes like infrastructure, energy, consumer goods, auto sector or the financial sector. You should look from a broader perspective. If India is a growth story, then what are the sectors that are going to be playing a significant role in this growth story? You should look at those kind of things and then stay invested in those kind of funds or themes.
