SpiceJet is extremely well placed in aviation sector: Hemang Jani, Sharekhan

In a chat with ET Now, Hemang Jani, Senior Vice President, Sharekhan, shares his views on aviation sector.

ET Now: What is the call on aviation?

Hemang Jani: At this point of time, one is not expecting any major deals to go through because the overall sector needs some more steps in terms of restructuring and in terms of the other issues that the industry is facing with. But within the space, SpiceJet is extremely well placed because we believe that balance sheet wise, it is much better and even their quarterly numbers have been better. So, whenever you see actual deals taking place which would take about 3 to 6 months’ time, SpiceJet could be a good bet to look at.
