What would you do with cement stocks?

Cement is a great story as far as India is concerned but it is a story which will unfold over the next 2-3 years time. Right now is not the time because very clearly there is a significant demand-supply mismatch. The supply is much more than the demand and the perceived demand for the next one year also. So the manufacturers have no pricing power whatsoever and they are not expected to get back the pricing power within the next one year’s time.

So next one year it is better to sit out, may be you can think of accumulating the top line cement company shares if they come down significantly even from current levels not before that.
