Shorting Kingfisher Airlines is dangerous at the current levels: Rajat Bose

I will not venture to short sell it at this juncture but I would definitely suggest that if the support level is violated then one should get out of it.

In a chat with ET Now, Rajat Bose, rajatkbose.com shares his views about the Kingfisher Airlines.

ET Now: What is your call on Kingfisher Airlines?

Rajat Bose:
Those who are holding Kingfisher Airlines and if they are sitting on substantial losses then there are two things:

1) 18.10-17.70 is the final support area below which there is no point at least from a technical point of view to hold on to Kingfisher Airlines stock. Because holding beyond that level would mean that you are actually banking on hope.

2) I still consider that shorting Kingfisher Airlines is a bit dangerous because there are certain situations when you will see something strange, rare and peculiar. In this case the company is completing its operations and may be the government will cancel its licence. Despite the fact that it can be short sold very heavily, people are yet not doing it. What is it that is holding it out at current level. I will not venture to short sell it at this juncture but I would definitely suggest that if the support level is violated then one should get out of it.
