Sesa Sterlite will benefit with SC judgement: Sudip Bandyopadhyay

In a chat with ET Now, Sudip Bandyopadhyay, President, Destimoney Securities Pvt. Ltd., shares his views on Sesa Sterlite.

ET Now: Sesa Sterlite do you think most of the news is in the price?

Sudip Bandyopadhyay: To an extent the news is in the price but there is still some upside left. It is a very positive development for the entire mining sector and definitely positive for Sesa which has got a significant mining presence in the state of Goa. Though this will probably give them around 40% of what they used to mine till 2010-2011 before the mining ban came but it is a very positive development and this will open a lot of doors for them going forward in the future. Of course there are conditions but I am sure these will progressively get streamlined in a manner so that the mining and the resources can be utilised in a proper manner. So mining companies including Sesa overall will benefit.
