Sell on every recovery for consumption stocks: G Chokkalingam

In a chat with ET Now, G Chokkalingam, Executive Director & Chief Investment Officer, Centrum Wealth Management, shares his views on consumption stocks.

ET Now: What is your call on consumption stocks?

G Chokkalingam: I would not recommend buying any of the consumption stocks. On every possible recovery, book profits and recover the money because wealth is made in a thematic fashion only once in a while and after that, there is no support for the stocks.

Hardly do we find any support coming from the investors who already made multi-bagger opportunity in those stocks. Therefore, I would rather advise people to sell for every recovery in these stock prices.
