SBI a better bet than its subsidiaries: Seshadri Bharathan
Since the free float and liquidity is very low, avoid getting into State Bank subsidiaries like State Bank of Mysore, State bank of Bikaner & Jaipur etc.
ET Now: State Bank subsidiaries like State Bank of Mysore, State bank of Bikaner & Jaipur etc have a low free float, and there might be more upside. If somebody is not invested into these stocks till now, what should he do?
Seshadri Bharathan: My sense is that since the free float and liquidity is very low, avoid getting into some of these stocks.
However, on a fundamental basis, some of these stocks look good but my sense is that for trading gains, yes, you can play in this but for an investor, better bet would be to buy into a State Bank of India, the parent company.
