How high in the near term can Reliance Industries?

With this ruling, the base price would be around $4.2 per mmbtu which means that going forward for the full year FY12, the earnings of Reliance Industries would be around Rs 88 and at a PE of around 16. That’s the historic PE that Reliance Industries trades at.

The stock price would be anywhere around Rs 1300. So sense is that institutional investors, which had kept away from these stocks because of the event, would now come back and buy into Reliance Industries. My sense is that in the immediate future this stock would go up to around Rs1100 and if you are a investor in the stock then you can expect the price to move to Rs1200 to Rs1300 in 6 months time.
