What do you make of this Chief Justice ruling in favour of Reliance Industries backing the Sathasivam verdict?

Well one will have to see the specific contents of the order before coming to what the law laid down is. Going by whatever I have been hearing so far, there seems to be a principle laid down that even if the government privatises the sector, the price at which that asset was serviced can be provided, can be inherently fixed by the government. These have tariff implications. These have implications across various areas of activities that government has hitherto been conducting. Of course as I said, we will have to see the actual content of the order before we extract any new law that has been laid down under this order.
