RIL looks investible right now, may regain some strength: Shashank Khade

"RIL after a long time has started to perform well be it refining margins or petrochemical margins," Khade said.

In a chat with ET Now, Shashank Khade, Senior VP, Kotak AMC PMS, shares his views about Reliance Industries Limited.

ET Now: What is the expectation now from Reliance Industries which is slated to come out with its earnings this week itself?

Shashank Khade:
I think, Reliance after a long time has started to perform well be it refining margins or petrochemical margins. Things will start stabilising and improving from here.

The key call here is when will the gas price be reset. The same is a matter of time and in case it happens, most of the worries around Reliance Industries will go away and it could become an investible stock.

In fact, there has been attrition in terms of index weight over the last four to five years and RIL may start to regain some of its strength on the index. So, Reliance per se looks investible right now as valuations have corrected.
