Retail investor should hold MRF: G Chokkalingam

"Top most stock would be MRF. I may be wrong but I am convinced to fully that this stock can give what M&M has given to the shareholders in the last 10-20 years."

G Chokkalingam, Executive Director & Chief Investment Officer, Centrum Wealth Management, talks to ET Now on various stocks.

Your top recommendation at the current point of time if indeed you are in the mood of buying anything, what is it that you would buy? Large cap or mid cap, I leave the choice to you?

Top most stock would be MRF. I may be wrong but I am convinced to fully that this stock can give what M&M has given to the shareholders in the last 10-20 years.

If inflation rate is going to be around 7% for next 10 years, on nominal term itself the company should post minimum 20,000 crores. If I add 5% volume growth per annum, the company can post a turnover of anywhere around 35000-40000 crores in 10 years.

Every retail investor should hold this stock. I firmly believe that this is a strong candidate for a multi-bagger and wealth creation opportunity.
