Restructuring augurs well for Crompton Greaves: Mayuresh Joshi, Angel Broking
In a chat with ET Now, Mayuresh Joshi, VP, Institution, Angel Broking, shares his views on Crompton Greaves.

ET Now: Crompton Greaves are making the right noises. So, is Crompton a good stock to look at?

Mayuresh Joshi: Clearly it depends on the time perspective of the investor. A two to three-year horizon is something the investor is willing to look at. Yes, the stock on declines can be looked at. All the good news that is coming through in terms of the demerger of the consumer durables business, the land sale as you mentioned right now would already have got factored into the price.

The restructuring exercise that Crompton Greaves is probably doing in its overseas operations would obviously augur well onto the stock in terms of the consolidated earnings to come through. So yes, the margin improvement would be clearly evident over the next few quarters for Crompton Greaves. The results probably this quarter might be a little bit sticky. So the results will not be that great for Crompton Greaves.
