Recommend wait and watch for Wockhardt: Sudip Bandyopadhyay

In a chat with ET Now, Sudip Bandyopadhyay, President, Destimoney Securities Pvt. Ltd, shares his views on Wockhardt.

ET Now: Wockhardt is a stock that you had recommended it when it was dirt cheap. It has moved up quite a bit now. What is the call on the Wockhardt?

Sudip Bandyopadhyay: At this stage, I am not recommending Wockhardt. It has moved up as you rightly said quite a bit. Second, they have certain regulatory issues vis-à-vis US FDI and our assessment is that it will take some time before we are able to resolve those issues. So I will wait for some more time before I recommend Wockhardt.

It is a good scrip. Fundamentally, there is absolutely no problem. They have to solve couple of issues. Once they have solved it, it will be again worth looking at but not right now.
