Recommend buying Gujarat Gas on dips: Sudip Bandopadhyay

In an interaction with ET Now, Sudip Bandopadhyay, market expert, shares his views on Gujarat Gas.

ET Now: Given the focus and we have heard a lot of foreign investors talk about the gas space, the oil space essentially throwing up perhaps some contrarian opportunities to buy, would you look at Gujarat Gas now?

Sudip Bandyopadhyay: Well, post this relisting consequent upon the merger of the companies is a good opportunity, and if there is a further correction, I probably will go ahead and recommend buying.

Of course, one should remember it is a slightly long term play. One should not expect fantastic returns or anything like that over a three to six month period, but if you are an investor and you have one year time horizon, keep a watch on this stock, it is a good company, it is a good business to own for long term.
