What is your call on real estate stocks?

For the last 12 to 15 months we are bearish on realty stocks. Although we have taken a lot of contrarian calls, but surely not in realty and I do not even plan to take a contrarian call on realty at least for the next two quarters where I still see most of them touching lower levels.

When we take a contrarian call, we would possibly be looking at those stocks which are not leveraged as such. The leverage has to be low and secondly they should be in those mid-range sort of housing companies, so if you look at the listed space I think there are too many of them. I think you can just pick up two or three of such stocks.
