Real estate will remain dicey: Hemindra Hazari

In a chat with ET Now, HemindraHazari, market expert, shares his views on the real estate sector. Excerpts:

ET Now: We have spoken about NBFCs, housing finance companies as well. There are a couple of results that have come out from the real estate pack and they have not been too bad either. Oberoi Realty Ltd has been fairly decent may be, Sobha Ltd was not the best but is there a bit of a turnaround for the slightly well managed real estate plays or would you just give the sector a miss?

Hemindra Hazari: What we know is that there is huge inventory in the key metros even for residential houses. Commercial real estate continues to remain depressed so I do not see this huge inventory going in a short period at all. I think the performance that we are seeing is going to be a short term oriented performance.
