Ranbaxy, the next big story in pharma space: Prakash Diwan

In a chat with ET Now, Prakash Diwan, Director, Altamount Capital Management shares his views on Ranbaxy.

ET Now: What is your call on Ranbaxy?

Prakash Diwan: People were expecting huge loses to be reported, but they have bounced back distinctly. The bad news has got absorbed, priced in and consolidated enough in the price action of the stock. Ranbaxy is the next big story that is emerging. If somebody has patience, I would look at it with a potential to be into the 1000 category in about 18 months' time. Finally, the good times are here for Ranbaxy. The next round of earnings will not only show some growth in earnings and topline, but will also shows some new products getting accepted in a significant way for the company.
