Q2 earnings unimpressive so far, may weigh on market: Nitin Raheja
Clearly, the earnings season has not seen a great start and I believe that will weigh on the market sentiment, says Raheja.

ET Now: The key question remains that if the defensive side of the market, or the relatively stronger side of the market, comes out with a set of numbers that does not appease investors, then should we be worried about which way the earnings season would pan out?
Nitin Raheja: You are absolutely right. The earnings so far have not really got off to a great start. We have seen two big two technology giants coming out with results; a mid tier technology firm a small bank has come out with a good set of numbers. A consumer company has not disappointed, but its results were just okay. Clearly, the earnings season has not seen a great start and I believe that will weigh on the market sentiment. It makes it more difficult for the market to break out of the range, it is trading in.
