Siddhartha Khemka, Head of Equity Research, Centrum Broking, said in an interview with ETNow that despite the pressure of stressed assets, private lenders should continue to do well in the market. Experts:-

ET Now: How have you read the earnings numbers of private banks, Kotak as well as HDFC Bank? What are your expectations from Axis Bank, given the underperformance of the stock on Thursday?

Siddhartha Khemka: In the overall private banking space, the results have been a mixed bag. Some of these banks that you said have been reporting good numbers in terms of growth and compared with some other private lenders, which have been reeling under the pressure of stressed assets. I think these would continue to do well in this market.
