Prefer Bharti Airtel and RCom in telecom space: Pankaj Pandey, ICICIdirect.com

In a chat with ET Now, Pankaj Pandey, HoR, ICICIdirect.com, shares his view on telecoms.

ET Now: Quick comment really on telcos, they were in focus yesterday because of, all the announcements that came in, today, there are couple of stocks in news as well including Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communication. What do you do with this pack?

Pankaj Pandey: Within the telecom, we are positive on both Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular. Beyond that, you do not have much options at which one can look at. Reliance Communication, we have already dropped coverage and the company continues to remain at elevated levels, going forward we would expect that the incumbents would continue to do better and probably, the new rules might allow weaker players to help the industry in terms of consolidation. The choice is very limited in telecom with Bharti and Idea the only two players which one can be looked at.
