Prefer Amara Raja over Exide: Sonam Udasi

I think a big disappointment today was what happened with Exide. What is the call on the stock?

We have continued to like Amara Raja versus Exide as the former has more visibility in terms of growth and projections. Exide has continuously disappointed. The only reason the valuation has sort of remained where it is or steadied is also because of the trigger of the stake sale in life insurance business which is possible. Over the next two years we prefer Amara Raja. The valuation gap is not too much between the two now but even then from the body language and what we are seeing we think Amara Raja is the place to be not Exide.
