Power and port are best policy dominated sector to bet on: Tirthankar Patnaik

In a chat with ET Now, Tirthankar Patnaik, Director, Strategist-Institutional Research, Religare Capital Markets, shares his views on market environment.

ET Now: For those who are betting on the economy to revive, which is the best policy dominated sector they should bet on, power, ports or road builders?

Tirthankar Patnaik: Power is one place I will be much more sanguine about. Ports is another place. Road builders I am not too sure really. Given the leverage of contractors, given the leverage of players in this space, there are stocks that we like. We like L&T amongst the large caps.

Among the smaller ones, I would bet on companies like Sadbhav but other than that, we are not too happy about the stocks.
