Positive on IT; offers opportunities during corrections: Deven Choksey, KR Choksey Securities

In a chat with ET Now, Deven Choksey, MD of KR Choksey Securities, shares his views on IT. Excerpts:

ET Now: What is the sense that you are getting about the IT pack? What is your view on names like TCS?

Deven Choksey: My view remains positive. Most of the IT packs offer you 10 to 15 per cent kind of an upside when you buy during corrections. Infosys for one had given us this opportunity earlier. Today, it is almost at 3600 kind of levels. Thus, I believe that 3700-3800 could be the possible upside for Infosys.

Similarly, in case of TCS, around 10 to 15 per cent kind of upside is possible during the course of this year. Hence, if you have bought during any corrective downside or consolidation, there would probably be an opportunity. I would remain positive as far as investment is concerned. To buy afresh, my strategy would be to buy on dips during corrections.
