There are some generic drugs, some herbal based drugs that have found a market in the US for Piramal Life Sciences. But to merit such a big move, do you think it is almost 60% plus?

Definitely yes, also there are stories going around that company wants to place 10% of its equity with one of the MNCs. With yesterday’s US Healthcare Bill being passed in the Senate, we would see lot of merger acquisition activity happening in India. Lot of these MNC companies would come to India to pick up stake in some of these pharma companies and more so companies which are more research and development oriented.

So yes, there is a buzz around Piramal Life Sciences that yes it might place part of its equity with MNC company.
