Pick up stocks on sell offs: Satish Betadpur , International Investment Research PLC

What are you advising clients at this point in time, stay away, wait and watch or possibly be aggressive in doing some bottom fishing?

Actually at this point there are certain stocks that are looking attractive. So we are recommending clients to pick up stocks whenever we have these sell offs. So constructive on a stock basis but we are not recommending them to go whole hog overweight India or for that matter any emerging markets at this point. There would be better opportunities to buy and wholesale into the market.

We believe later on as the summer progresses or especially during the summer months in US and Europe. There is a saying that you sell in May and come back in September and it is quite possible that this year again we may get great buying opportunities in July-August timeframe.
