Pharma stocks are doing very well: Emkay Global Financial Services

In a chat with ET Now, Anish Damania, Head-Institutional Equity, Emkay Global Financial Services Ltd, shares his views on pharma sector.

ET Now: What is your call on midcap pharma?

Anish Damania: There are four sectors which one can invest in and those sectors are pharma, IT, autos and FMCG. Now pharma is a main buzz word. So anything which has pharma behind its name or any of its activity that is pharma besides its name the stocks are doing very well. So you saw Panacea Biotec move up firmly over the last few days. Jubilant Lifesciences moved up quite significantly over the past few days. So you are seeing that action catching up in some stocks, which have not done anything over the last few months in the pharma space. Similar is a case with technology, so if you look at the midcap technology space a lot of stocks have started buzzing once again.
