ONGC should be a good investment: Lancelot D'cunha

ET Now caught up with Lancelot D'cunha, CEO, Sharyans Wealth Management, and seeks views on ONGC. Excerpts:

What is your reading on ONGC?

My reading on ONGC is that the numbers for the last quarter may not be that exciting but given the fact the government is slowly moving ahead with the reforms in terms of freeing the petroleum prices and they are not willing to look at bearing subsidies, so I see a substantial shift in the performance of ONGC going forward. So given that outlook, ONGC should be a good investment in spite of the reasonably flat numbers that will come out later today.
