Oil,banking stocks good bet among large cap names: Deven Choksey

In a chat with ET Now,Deven Choksey, MD, KR Choksey Securities, shares his views on stocks in large cap space.

ET Now: What is it that you are keeping conviction within the market especially among the large cap names. Where is it that you are advocating a hold?

Deven Choksey: We have employed selective themes, on one side those companies wherein the policy related actions could be more favourable if the new government start taking the corrective actions. That is where we have included the PSU, oil and gas basket in which the companies like ONGC, BPCL or GAIL remain in one basket wherein corrective policies taken by the new government could result into rerating of these stocks.

Likewise with the returning of the growth in the economy on the GDP side may be banking stock.
