No buys in infrastructure as yet. It is one of the sectors which is being affected the most by the market’s decline and the bear market in all.

Deepak Mohoni, Director, trendwatchindia.com, in a chat with ET Now, gives his views on infra space

Infrastructure stocks, any specific picks that you have out there?

No buys in infrastructure as yet. It is one of the sectors which is being affected the most by the market’s decline and the bear market in all. You take Lanco Infratech for example. It was more than double this price only three months ago. That is the kind of rate of fall we are seeing. So the sequence of events required before buying Infratech would be first wait for the market to bottom out, then wait for all sectors picking up, then wait for an intermediate uptrend in infra, wait for the next decline, see if there is a higher bottom and only then get into it. They should be quite rewarding at that stage because they are quite volatile on the upside.
