Non-urea fertilisers may face slowdown: Prashastha Seth

How do you look at these two agri spaces, fertilisers and sugar?

Frankly we have no view on that. These are so news driven and so trading oriented that to take a fundamental call on these two sectors is extremely difficult. The only point is that non-urea fertilisers might essentially face some amount of slowdown because you are essentially seeing slowdown in volumes and that might hurt the ability of the companies to take further price hikes and increase margins. That’s something that could come under stress in terms of earnings going forward but beyond that we have frankly no view on those two sectors at this point of time.
