Non-ferrous metals, utility, telecom stocks look exciting: Jitendra Sriram
In a chat with ET Now, Jitendra Sriram, Director & HoR, HSBC Securities, talks about his top sectoral bets.

ET Now: What is it that you are researching on or what is it that where you are placing your bets right now?

Jitendra Sriram: There are multiple areas that we continue to be excited about.

First of all, private sector banks are something that we continue to like because they have adequate capital for growth.

The second area that we like is the upstream energy sector. Lower subsidy share is clearly benefiting upstream state-run oil companies. This along with direct benefit transfers will help cleaning the system.

Another area that we like is non-ferrous metals. We especially like zinc. Telecom is the fourth area that we like because of huge uptick in data. Finally, we like utilities.
