No liquidity in Gokaldas Exports stock
ET Now caught up with Sajiv Dhawan, MD, JV Capital Services on his views on Gokaldas Exports stock.
We have seen spinning and financial stocks move up, finally we seem to see one, Gokaldas Exports, Blackstone, they own 50% of that stock, you have got a call in Gokaldas, this stock has really not done anything which means it did even go down when we went through that December 2008 scenario and volumes are pathetic, so any reason to be in Gokaldas Exports of do you think textile itself as a sector?
Not really with any conviction, Gokaldas do not follow and as you mentioned if there is no liquidity, then there is no real interest. One where traders and speculators did latch on to was Alok Textiles. That had a run up but again after the budget, the stock fallen off and it is drifting, so it is a sector that may be contrarians may like to get into but it does not deliver. The markets which you have today, I view buy the dips from an investment perspective or you trade the momentum sector on the upside and textiles does not come into any of those categories.
