No higher price momentum in Taam Galva in 2010: Ventura Securities Ltd

Subramanyam Pisupati, president, Ventura Securities Ltd, in a chat with ET Now talks about Uttam Galva.

What do you do with Uttam Galva? Would it be advisable to look at this company?

For investment perspective then I think what is going to happens in so far as good news is concerned, I think that has factored in. I mean ArcelorMittal going to hikes its stake at the current market price - all has been factored in.

I think if anybody has got a stock - I think it exit from these levels, the underperforming of Uttam Galva is largely over. I think it will be a market performer or slightly even underperforming that entire steel space for a simple reason that when we look at steel as a pack there are some other compelling buys. So when you look at a sector rotation within happening, I think I will rather look at a large company like a GSPL or a Tisco rather than Uttam Galva.

See what is happening is that it has moved low so much for the current market price only because of the ArcelorMittal case. I think everything has been factored in the price. It is there in them. I don’t think it is going to take any great momentum in so far as higher moment of the price is concerned for Uttam Galva - at least in the year 2010.
