Need short term view on metals till longer term trend actually appears: Arindam Ghosh, BlackRidge Capital Advisors

In a chat with ET Now, Arindam Ghosh, CEO, BlackRidge Capital Advisors, shares his views on the current outlook of the metal sector. Excerpts:

ET Now: What interests you from the metals space? Do you think these are just the trading rallies that we have been witnessing in the past?

Arindam Ghosh: This is more driven by global factors than domestic. From a domestic point of view, until and unless we see a clear pickup in the capex or a revival of growth, this is something which is unsustainable.

One needs to watch it from a short term perspective till a more longer term trend actually starts to appear on the horizon.
