NBFC space looks attractive: Gaurav Doshi

In a chat with ET Now, Gaurav Doshi, VP Equity Specialist, Morgan Stanley PWM, talks about NBFC Sector.

Out of the earnings that we have seen from the mid-cap pocket this time, anything that has stood by and you would put a buy recommendation on?

The private banking and the NBFC space has really stood out. We have seen exceptional results there, and individual stocks have kind of sort of broken the trend from the broader market, so the small-cap banks -- like Yes Bank move into the NBFC space and other include LIC, GIC Housing, Bajaj Finance, the entire space looks extremely attractive but more so we also think the bigger names in the sector like HDFC, ICICI due for short covering should provide further support to the smaller names.

We would say and with a lot more conviction that the smaller names in the banking sector or the mid-cap stocks there would definitely provide a good opportunity in this pullback.
