Mining space looking positive: Hemang Jani

In a chat with ET Now, Hemang Jani, Senior Vice President, Sharekhan, talks about mining space.

ET Now: What is the call on stocks from the mining space?

Hemang Jani: We do not cover some of these companies like GMDC etc, but some of these companies have started reporting better set of numbers and the pricing environment for some of the companies particularly in the bauxite and iron ore would be much better over the next 6 to 12 months. So given that correction and the pricing environment, there is an opportunity here for companies like Sesa Goa, NMDC. We do not look at GMDC closely, so I would not be able to comment on that but that space definitely looking pretty positive.
