Midcap IT firms delivering top line botton line: Dipan Mehta, BSE and NSE

In a chat with ET Now, Dipan Mehta, Member BSE and NSE, shares his views on midcap IT stocks. Excerpts:

ET Now: What is your view of the midcap IT stocks?

Dipan Mehta: Midcap IT companies are delivering top line bottom line that is far better than what street is expecting. Some amount of pricing pressure will take place as the year progresses but the whole concept of outsourcing has suddenly become far more economical than it was six months ago.

The gap still remains between large cap IT and midcap IT and that gap could narrow if you see two-three more such quarters of midcap IT delivering at least rupee numbers which are superior than what large cap IT has been delivering.
