Metals are good for short selling: Deepak Mohoni

Looking at the trend of the market, not just ours, globally as well, just one more hour to go, would you initiate a fresh short on any of these high beta names, anything from the realty or the metals universe?

Metals probably, realty has been more sideways. We are not seeing those declines in realty which were much worse than the rest of the market at one time but now they are somewhere in the middle. The worst hit sectors right now certainly seems to be metals.

So I would look for something there and then there are some stray stocks which are just falling and falling and falling like the Punj Lloyd or McLeod Russel. So you get some individual fallers which are really in freefall. Those candidates are good for short selling.
